Description:The position requires the skill to create a comprehensive, integrated digital solution that will provide results for clients. The Strategist will be responsible for generating and presenting digital solutions, such as: online display, email marketing, website design, search engine marketing, text and social media applications. Working with sales teams to develop innovative, strategic and sophisticated solutions utilizing all applicable digital media and creative/marketing services capabilities, the Strategist will serve as a thought leader in all aspects of interactive marketing and emerging media.
Duties:Responsible for maintaining and growing account base and meeting revenue expectations.

Works with team to help conceive and execute digital/marketing solutions for high profile clients that market across channels, integrate with offline media, and push interactive innovation.

Manages projects to ensure on time delivery of new business assignments.

Develops and delivers sales presentations and presentations for external speaking opportunities with the goal of persuading external decision makers and influencers.

Works with local advertising and marketing directors to deliver high customer value and ROI fulfillment, tapping regional and local market assets.

Demonstrate proficiency in matching products to customer needs and making solid marketing presentations that sell the value of Tennessean Media Group. Establish deep customer relationships.
Qualifications:Bachelors Degree - Marketing or Business Related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years digital sales/marketing experience; including experience in developing marketing campaigns utilizing multiple media, and project management experience required.

Prefer: Experience in a marketing department, ad agency or consultant type role where responsible for pulling and analyzing data, and utilizing data and other information to make strategic marketing and advertising plans and recommendations.


Ability to conduct a needs assessment, identify marketing and advertising solutions for clients, evelop proposals and experience in delivering sales presentations.

Intermediate working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet and database applications.

Valid Tennessee driver’s license and proof of insurance coverage required.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal), organizational skills and time management skills. Global thinking to develop solutions that optimize results for clients. Strategic/analytical problem solver to frame problems and drive solutions. Strong partnership and influencing skills. Professional appearance. Must be able to handle stress and pressure well.
