| Description: | The Tennessean is seeking a reporter to primarily develop content covering Nashville's smaller neighborhoods as part of our Small Town/Big City passion topic. We know that many neighborhoods are fiercely proud and devoted to their communities (East Nashville, Madison, Hillsboro/Belmont, Antioch, cane Ridge, etc.) and are hungry for news both online and in print related to their locations. The reporter will develop a robust social media presence and utilize our digital toolbox to increase interaction with our key audiences on neighborhood and community issues. |
| Duties: | The reporter needs to be skilled in storytelling and able to identify opportunities to develop stories that have a compelling human interest. |
| Qualifications: | Journalism education with 1 - 3 years minimum of reporting. Technologically versed with multimedia, socka media, and data skills such as experience using spreadsheets and analyzing data for stories. |
