| Description: | The Tennessean is seeking a User-Generated Content (UGC) Producer to manage, edit and curate user-generated content for the Information Center. This position will help solicit, gather, edit and distribute UGC - particularly photographs, columns and blog material - to various platforms and will work closely with section and digital editors at The Tennessean. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of key Nashville audiences and passion topics, the wherewithall to seek out potential contributors, and the editing skills to make wise use of those contributions. THE UGC Producer will be highly organized and able to manage multiple relationships inside and outside the building, deadlines for multiple products, and a number of different submission and compensation procedures. |
| Duties: | Edit and solicit a variety of types of content for a variety of Tennessean platforms. Coordinate with section editors and online editors to enhance, package and promote this UGC content. Work with contributors to develop new content and generate leads for new contributors of user-generated content. Coordinate production and publication of UGC via appropriate content management system. |
| Qualifications: | Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years of editing experience and minimum of five years of professional web experience. Must have experience in content management systems and editing/writing. |
