| Description: | Achieve monthly and annual revenue goals by selling advertising to and servicing local businesses, in collaboration with Field Sales Rep. Develop new business and grow existing business through inside sales calls by using a variety of sales programs and newspaper products. |
| Duties: | Work as a team with Field Sales Rep to achieve monthly and annual revenue goals through the presentation and sale of multi-media solutions and programs for new and existing clients. Monitor other media to identify opportunities to increase market share and attend local business events for network opportunities. Analyze sales performance to goals and develop strategy to reach goals, including providing accurate internal documentation such as weekly and monthly flash, daily monitoring of ASAT and paperchecker reports, etc. multiple products and programs for new and existing clients. Give leads and sales opportunities to Field Sales Rep when appropriate, as well as follow up on sales opportunities that come from Field Sales Rep. Meet monthly client package sales goals, team error ratio goals and churn rate goals.
Collaborate with your team of field sales reps and manager to develop strategies on how to grow revenue from existing and new accounts, as well as how to better serve customers. Continue to maintain and grow customer spending each period by developing custom proposals to include market research. Ensure customer results by regularly monitoring digital reports (i.e., Helios), reviewing results with your customer, recommending and revising programs to improve results as needed.
Work with assigned Account Executives/Representatives on order fulfillment process that includes scheduling, processing, setting up accounts and contracts, uploading artwork into ATOL and proofing advertising orders and spec ads, processing insertion orders, adhering to deadlines. Provide our customers with top-notch customer service by taking care of customer issues immediately and working with the CCC to resolve billing/credit issues within a timely manner. Complete sales reporting in a timely manner.
Actively participate in sales meetings and trainings to enhance and grow knowledge and usage of sales, product, competition or other essential job information. Maintain and consistently demonstrate a thorough understanding of product features and benefits, rates, and packages and how to effectively utilize them, applying customer-centric sales approaches.
Provide support for department to include providing backup for the other support staff, answering the phone queue line and taking complete messages, and other duties as required. Perform all duties with a sense of urgency, assuming tasks are to be completed the day they are assigned unless directed otherwise.

| Qualifications: | - High school diploma or GED.
- Two years advertising account management experience including daily experience communicating with, servicing, managing, and upselling accounts to meet client business needs.
- Good organizational skills, written communication skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, e-mail, Internet, and database applications.
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license & proof of automobile insurance. |
